I agree, The songs on this record have a nice smooth production, and the screams come very abruptly and are rather loud compared to Simone's vocals on other tracks, though not this one so much.

I would find it more interesting to hear melodic singing over the music that Epica usually resorts to screaming for. It would show some more creativity in my opinion.

I like this song quite alot, myself.
I like the band as a whole as well, esp. Simone, her voice & her physical self. Very beautiful.

Though the one thing I don't like is Mark's death metal vocals & grunts/growl s .
IMO, unless he is representing a character of a given song which is a devil/demon or whatever, I do not find it necessary to have him to be vocalizing. I thoroughly enjoy the songs where Simone sings the whole song.
I wish it would happen more often if not on the whole album through.

This is a totally awesome song! I had never really enjoyed Epica's songs. They are good but they just didn't excite me. This one does a very good job of waking me up.
