I just returned from the Telluride Bluegrass Festival 2008 (Colorado). Swell Season (Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova) played at 7pm on the last day (this last Sunday). THEY BROUGHT THE HOUSE DOWN at the end, Glen has SO MUCH passion...ca n play a guitar unlike anything I've ever heard live. And "Falling Slowly" just sweeps you up and won't let you go...WOW...j u s t WOW. SEE THEM LIVE!! -Logan Morley

Also (in addition to my earlier comment), Glen Hansard played ONE HECK of a Van Morrison rift in the middle of their appearance. Totally random, and COMPLETELY AWESOME...he played that guitar unlike anything, ANYTHING I have ever seen or heard. What an incredible display of passion, fervor, and unique talent by a true gem of the artistic world. And he brought the house down, practically caused a riot, and caused an explosion of energy at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. WHAT A GIFT!
