Ya that wasn't Lisa Kelly on the LOTR soundtrack, it was Enya. I love Hayley, and I love this song, but for the life of me this isn't that great of a recording. Her voice lacks emotion- it's like a synthesized voice on this track. At least there's other Hayley stuff out there :|

Doesn't matter who sings it- this song is beautiful. Enya sang it for Lord of the Rings.

Definitely there should be more Enya songs on Enya stations. Most of the songs Pandora thinks are "similar" really aren't-- it forgets about the New Age aspects. But Hayley Westenra I find to have a fairly similar singing style to Enya's.

didn't lisa kelly sing this for the lord of the rings? thats what i thought. but i still like hayley's version better than enya's.

Beautiful voice! But I like the Enya version better. Enya has depth and experience. Hayley will get there one day, too. I agree that this song by Enya should be played on the Pandora radio station which I have selected as "Enya". I think every song Enya has ever sung should be on a radio station that bears her name.

I find it odd that Enya wrote May it Be, and yet her version does not come up on a station entitled "Enya." Just an observation. . .

There's minimal cause to compare these two Celtic voices. Only we Americans would do this. Close your yiis and let either one transport you where you need to go.

I like this because I've heard Enya's version often enough that it's grown old for me. I wish there were more changes in this version, but those that do exist make the song listenable for me again.

They way this woman sings this song is okay. Enya's version of this song for the Lord of the Rings one cd is way better. Enya blew it out of the water. This woman does not have a voice strong enough to be singing this. Enya should be the only one to ever sing May it Be.

Her voice seems to young to give the song the same "feel" as enya's version
i think hayley does it much better than enya. enya's gets a bit boring, but hayley's is beautiful.
I think both Hayley and Enya's versions are really pretty. I think Enya does it a little better, though.
Enya's voice matches the mood and meaning behind the song much better than Hayley's.
I think Enya's version is much, much better too. Enya's has that haunting, mystical quality and a richer, deeper feel to it. Though Hayley has a very nice voice, this remake is very flat and bland.
Yeah I like Enya's version much better. Though honestly, instead of re-doing what has already been done... :)

to brianchick: this is so no true, I'm so irriteted with her singing May it be, I wish she didn't do it.

A beautiful song featuring a beautifully clear voice. This version even beats out Enya's, which is saying something.
