so amazing- i love listening to this song before bed, puts me to sleep with a smile.

I agree with Matthew Ealey -- the U2 ruins what was otherwise a beautiful version of Canon in D. Nothing against U2 but appending it to Pachelbel is a mess.
Don't no why the artist would want to ruin Canon in D with a U2 song, but I like the beginning a lot. Canon is my favorite "classical" piece.
The use of strings is so pervasive yet so many think that symphonic orchestras are a thing of the past.
Although the pianist gives too much weight to the downbeat, even that can't disguise the fact that this is still one of the world's most charming melodies. I agree with teriv3: you just gotta stop and listen. I also agree with Rahul; this is definitely an interesting mix.
Funny isn't it: performers 400 years apart and they can still get together to make beauty live. |
I agree with teriv3. I have to stop whatever I am doing, and give the song my whole attention. This song takes me to another world. Especially since I love Canon in D by Pachelbel, it's such a beautiful song. TO hear it mixed with U2 is amazing.

i like how it transitions and if have ever listened to U2 it sounds like there song "With or Without You" :p
I have to stop working when listening to this and close my eyes. It reaches my heart somehow.

I love the transition from classical rigidity to contemporary fluidity. It's beautiful.
it is a mix of the classical song Pachelbel cannon and U2's with or without you by Jon Schmidt. And yes it is very beautiful.
What u2 song is this? With or without you or one? Either way beautiful song!!!
