sell out, Steve Perry was having problems with his woman Sherry Swafford (O Sherry) which evolved to the point of breaking up the band. Take a look at their song catalog, anything with Perry's name on it is a song about woman problems of some type. Saw the guys with with their new lead man last summer in OKC. Was really good, a lot better than I expected.

I am a big Journey fan - but this album/song and time-period of the group was B.A.D , ( I even saw the tour..) This was the Journey-Sell s - O u t period...
Separate Ways, however is a decent song - the ONLY good song from Frontiers... |

I have mixed feeling on this one. It's a good song, but the album as a whole stinks. It is the only Journey album that I did not re-buy as a CD, probubly because of "Faithfully" . . . I think Journey sold out - preferring to be a pop band as opposed to being a rock band for money/radio play. The sucess of "Escape" and "Open Arms" went to their heads...prob u b l y cost them an entry to the Rock'n'roll Hall of Fame. They DO NOT belong there. No way....
