It's natural that some would like this and others would prefer the original - they're definitely different. I also prefer the original as a standalone song, but I'm quite fond of this version and would add it to playlists and mood mixes alike.

If you dont appreciate this for its pure genius...you should consider seeing a doctor...a really expensive one.

This remix starts off sounding a bit boring, but it grows on you as the song gathers momentum. But the remix manages to lose the original's driving, anthemic qualities, which is a shame.
