metsmanrj: lol - erin9342 has two stations, one is Jonas Bros and the other is Weird Al... I think anyone with taste that "dull-ish" has little business hating on a rock classic like Stairway. :-P

erin9342 if you think that this song is "dull-ish" then you must have skipped it in the middle of the song. If you listen to the entire thing then you'll hear the amazing guitar solo at the end.
Keep in mind that erin9342 has a Jonas Bros station and listens to the "Gummi Bear" song.

this is my first time hearing this song so....... i think it is kind of dull-ish sorry to those who like this song!

My father has seriously asked that one day this song be played at his funeral. He also mentioned that I was actually conceived to this song back in '77. Needless to say, my old man loves Zep....I grew up on Zep...so I love 'em too. This is an amazing song....

This song doesn't seem so bad if you have to play it but hearing it on a pandora station with a lot of thumbed up hard rock songs is a little odd.

Led Zepplin's "Stairway to Heaven" defined who my friends and I were in 1979.
Clearly the best rock song of all time -- bar none. MTV has it as thehe voter's best for 25 straight years running. Nuff said!
this was the first rock album i bought and it is still my favorite. i still get chills from four.
this song will be stuck i my head for weeks, but i don't care. |
After this song ends on Pandora I have to turn the volume down, press pause, and leave it like that for a good while...

This song is the MOST BEATIFUL HEARTFELT LYRICS that I have had the "PRIVILAGE TO LISTEN TOO". This was played at my Birth mothers funeral. I was only 8 years young. I thank GOD for the time I cherished with my Mom. I'm 39 now! Blessed be thy wife that keeps me strong (19 yrs+(>life) AMEN

I dont give a flying F U C K what anyone says, this song is Led Zeppelin's face. This is the icon that anyone who has ever even heard of Led Zeppelin will know. To think that there are plenty of people in the world missing out on such true artists as these is an atrocity. So play on Pandora and may this song come on to every station multiple times!!!

dear otis drift wood,
you are by far the biggest a**hole in the world, nothing could ever ruin this song |

A friend of mine had her baby to this song....you can probably figure out in which segment she was screaming.

¿No lyrics? Not that I need them but there are bands you've never heard of on here with full lyrics to all their songs. How odd.
are there any covers of this song?? i've nvr heard any full covers of this song. i guess its just too epic that nobody wants to get anywhere near it..

Indeed, one of the greatest songs ever. One I can never get tired of listening to. Timeless, haunting, beautiful, and exquisite musicianship . Plant may think "Kazmir" the perfect LZ song. But I have to disagree. Stairway trumps it in every way.
One of the best songs ever written, and as cryptic as Dark side of the Moon.
just the fact that this song has 40+ comments about it says it all......... . . . simply one of the greatest songs ever recorded
