Since the first time I heard this song, it makes me think of my sister...esp e c i a l l y the starry sky part because she would always call during meteor showers (we lived in different states) so we could watch together. I just saw sycadelic98' s post about the Allstate Teen Driving Program. Wow. How ironic. My sister was killed by a reckless teen driver in April of this year. She was 42 and now this song has so much more meaning for me.

Wow, I love this. I have always loved Lifehouse, but I have never heard this song. Of course, I first hear it when my boyfriend is over in Afghanistan working for 2 months... :( Well, now I have something to send him :)

From Wikipedia: "From Where You Are" is a single from the band Lifehouse that was written by Jason Wade for Allstate's Teen Driving Program. The song is dedicated to teens who have lost their lives in accidents and used to educate teens to drive safely. There is a music video, which combines Jason Wade singing in a recording studio and clips from the Allstate commercial. The single was made available through iTunes on November 6, 2007.
