This song is so operatic, you just want soak in it's splendor. The lyrics are pretty amazing for a "pop" song too.

And Keane, DCFC, and Muse don't even sound close to each other. Muse is much more loud and layered. (And better.)

death cab isn't boring! a lot of their stuff is good. not all of it... and they have a lot of the same stuff, but not any more than other bands!

Out of all the bands mentioned (Killers, Keane, Death Cab, and Radiohead) I think Muse rules. They sound influenced by those artists but their songs are unique enough. Killers are overated but I do enjoy them. Death Cab is boring and annoying. Radiohead is a little to bland but I like them and same with Keane. They do sound like Keane but...I like Muse the best!

Zerrch sounds like a mental midget. Name me one artist that isn't recognizable from track to track. Of course, Grateful Dead, Phish and Dave Matthews trolls will listen to the same boring riff over and over and it doesn't matter because they're more than likely stoned anyway ;) Ok, countering my own point, Jack Johnson is about as ditto as you can be from song to song, but the dude is amazing.

This song is great, but there is nothing wrong with the killers. There is obviously a reason they are mainstream and staying original.

What a bunch of idiotic bullshit! I am by no means a huge fan of Muse, but they are leaps and bounds better than The Killers. Right off the bat, one will notice that all of Muse's songs don't sound the f**king same. Now, if all of The Killer's songs sounded the same but were GOOD, that would be another story. Unfortunatel y , they copy the same s**tty formula, only to create more s**t.

i've got Muse's formula down...for this song anyway. Take 1 part Coldplay piano twinkling pop, add some Thom Yorke like aching vocal, then throw in 1 part crunchy hair metal riffs when he says, "i'll never let you go! if you promise not to ever faaaade away!"....an d there you have it, a Muse song.

no F you Zerrch...thi s song is good. Muse is good...but one of the related songs of this song is the Killers' "Smile Like You Mean It", and that song is 10 times better than this song or anyone's collective opinion of Muse combined.

It's great that some bands aren't affraid to still make more upbeat numbers. This is not one of the best Muse songs, but it is still great :) It doesn't do the Bellamy's vocals justice!

I've been listening to this song for awhile and it's really growing on me. Very very good, very beautiful. Makes me feel shiny and warm.

Every time I hear this song my hearts begins beating twelve times faster. It's amazing, and invigorating . This is my all-time favorite song.
