John Lennon's is Classic, but I definitely dig this dark, haunting version.

I wonder if what the Zeitgiest movie says bout money is true, I've been wondering about that topic for a while. Song does seem to relate to it. Well, till (if?) the dream becomes a reality I guess we will all live as the corporate overlords see fit.

Not a fan of A Perfect Circle, but this is my favorite cover of Imagine. Lennon's original was perfect for the time it was written. While I don't believe this cover is musically superior, I think this version better reflects the emotions of this era.

This cover is better than lennon's original, musically. (Lennon's is still awesome) The mood and tone of this version matches up with the lyrics much better.

i think the main inspiration for the 'emo' comment was the album's name, Emotive, which is actually the full word when someone says 'Emo'.

I think it's a good cover. Not "emo s**t". Just because it's in a minor key doesn't mean it has to suddenly become depressing and helpless. The message is still the same. The band is just using their musical style to make something semi-new. I usually don't like a cover if it's EXACTLY like the original. It's nice when the artist covering throws in their own little flair. Usually.

I love it when someone takes someone else's song and really makes it their own. This isn't a "cover," it's a meaningful reinvention.
