As I understand, "Tom" is Garfunkel (they originally called themselves "Tom & Jerry"). The song is about Art flying to a film location to embark on an acting career that perhaps would signal the end of the duo.

Listen to those two great voices. They sound so good together. (muley... you're right. Pandora is not much better than a live DJ who's paid to play the same stuff over and over. Considering Sim & Gar had 100s of superb songs, why play the same couple as if that were all they had.) |

I love Pandora, but, I'm beginning to think that "the only living boy in New York" is the "only Simon and Garfunkel song" Pandora will play. Honestly, I've heard this song 20 x's and maybe only heard one or two other S & G songs. Diversify your rotation, please, thank yoU!

OMG, no kidding, it's been about 10 minutes since my last post and now Pandora just played the LIVE version of "T.O.L.B.I.N . Y " . It's a great song but dam. It's now getting the black ball! Peace!
