Confused?! I learned a song in church and this is the music from it. Yes its been years actually over 30. But everyone is saying its from Braveheart. We use to sing 'This Is My Father's World' lyrics to it, so what gives?

And I understand what folks are saying about an artist does not necessarily write all their own music, but I think what throws us off is when you look at the info on the song it says by Myleene Kass.. and I take that to mean that is who it was written by... but clearly not what Pandora means by that. They mean performed by.

I can't believe I couldn't place this song when I heard it! I think the name threw me off for a minute. I love the movie Braveheart! It's been my favorite film for years :) This song is beautiful, too- always moves me, even when I can't remember where it's from ;)

There are parts that remind me of the Holst's Jupiter from the planets suite. . . At first I thought it was a variation and then looked to see it was something completely different.
Braveheart is one of the greatest movies of all time, this variation also makes me think of Final Fantasy for some reason.

Rcoughtrey- Artists play work composed/arr a n g e d by others all the time. Have you ever been to a choir, orchestra, or band concert? Not all musicians have the ability or desire to compose. And what would all the great composers be remembered for if no one played their music except them? Rather hard for one person to play every instrument in the orchestra at the same time. AND...if every instrumental i s t played their own interpretati o n , the original piece would be lost/distort e d beyond recogonition
