It sounds like Siouxsie and The Banshees' Hong Kong Gardens. Similar riff, but I guess a lot of bands from that era echo a similar post-punk Goth Rock sound. Echo and The Bunnymen too.

First heard this on Substance 1987 when I borrowed my older brothers cassette tape, first song and a classic!
I was born in the wrong decade! =(. My favorite New Order song.

Man, New Order...anyone old enough to remember Medusa's? I do! Ah, but you can't go back...

New Order - doesn't get any better - new stuff as good as the old stuff. The only band whose songs all the sound same which is what makes it all sound so good.

Just hearing this song makes me want to go back in time so I can regain clearer pictures in my mind of how much freakin fun I was having, how young I was, how sexual and vital...how the world seemed limitless with possibilities....how emotional and dramatic daily life was back then....I just get goose bumps when I hear this!
