Taking the crossover club music of Enigma and appending opera onto it instead of world music, Operatica has a very distinct sound in the scope of electronica. Featuring leather-lunged divas amid sultry electronic beats, Operatica throbs with a moody tension rarely heard in the genre. Formed around the wild ideas of Lord Vanger, his collaborations have cut out the need for other members and his albums generally take the name Operatica as a moniker for the particular project more than the name of a band. ~ Bradley Torreano, Rovi
Very unique sound. Great sounds for the back drop of a ski movie soundtrack.

I cannot find any of these songs anywhere!!!! I heard Khodoya and now none of my music sounds good anymore. I need this song so i can play it into normalcy.

this is what you call 'the Farsi language' which originated from the ancient 'Persia' and now being spoken in Afghanistan & Iran.
Does anyone have an incredibly hard time finding any of these tracks elsewhere? I'm in love with "Standing at the Edge of the World" - can't get it out of my head!
i dont hear the opera influence at all...the only vocals so far have been a 'na na na na hey' and other basic electronic dance vocal sounds over a generic dance beat
This song is magnificent! I'll have to check out some of Operatica's other songs.
sema_sgaier: The language is English. I actually thought it was in a different language as well until I listened to it with headphones on. Definitely English. :)

Yah, it's amazing the difference headphones make.
