Since the singers of the original songs performed with these kids, I would say any complaints are misplaced. Lastly this is not School of Rock, but Rock School as some of the comments don't seem to know the difference.
1. So, it's a cover. So was Santana's version. 2. It's a good cover - most of the time, you want a cover to be note-for-note to the original. 3. Good recording, crisp and clean.
So, it doesn't add anything new. But if it is a band of young ones, it does show great promise. Not a song I'll "like" - but I won't mark it "never play again."

Interesting concept for a MOVIE! But imitations do not belong on Pandora. Covers that add or give another angle are reasonable to play, but not one that's claim is its note to note imitation.

hey clowns... I have been playing guitar for over 40 years, and the rendition is prett true. All of the notes are there. The kid playing guitar is probably 12 years old. Not bad even for a 40 years old...

Give enough chimps electric guitars and microphones and an infinite amount of time and they'll come up with something as soul-less and unoriginal as this version of a great Santana classic.

Very good rendition, particularly guitar. I agree with Event Horizon - something's missing, yeah ...... Carlos Santana, Chester Thompson and all the rest, but hey what can you do? This is probably as close as you can get.
Listening to "Black Magic Woman" now and it's OK. There just seems to be something missing. Percussion is good as is the guitar.........just something missing.
great chops.....but....if you do a remake it better be at least as good if not better than the original....it's neither.....good though.....all props...

Not at all offensive, in fact, very credible. Close enough you thought it may just be a live version of Heart, but then ever so subtle a hint of punk bleeding through.
