Oh, where oh where can my baby be? The Lord took her away from me She's gone to heaven, so I got to be good So I can see my baby when I leave this world.

Wow what a blast from the past. Dear Perl Jam, Great job on this oldie. This original song came out the same summer our town lost a car load of teen age sisters in a bad car wreck out on Highway68. It's real life for some.
Not a big Pearl Jam fan, but I've always loved the original version of this weird little song (done in the early 60's by J. Frank Wilson and the Cavaliers). This was a very unexpected cover, and I have to admit that Pearl Jam really does a great job resurrecting a hit long-forgetten by most people and making it uniquely their own.
Last Kiss is a song I've heard and been connected to for years. Just the other day I won FIrst place in a competition singing that song. I don't know just something about this song reaches me.
