As the daughter of a professional musician father & music lovin'/dancin' mom, I was blessed to grow up singing, listening & dancing to all genres of music. THANKS MOM & DAD for passing on your passion for great music. (My kids & grandkids thank you too!)

I do so love music rich in harmonies,stirring rhythms, unique chord changes, pure melodies and lyrics that weave & paint a story. If the music doesn't stir up the emotions, bless your sensibilities and bring your soul to it's knees, it just isn't music.

The only 'music' (I hate you can call this assault on the senses 'music') that I can't stand is:
--Gangsta Rap (it's just plain vulger & unimaginative)
--Head Bangin-Heavy Duty Acid & Metal Rock(noise pollution!);
--Non-melodic Jazz (the chords & note placements don't seem to make any sense)
--Operetic-style singing..EXCEPTIONS are Kathleen Battle & the Three Tenors, I love them! p.s.: I ran across an old Jeanette McDonald movie - "Firefly". Although some of the acting was hoakie, I did appreciate her singing voice.
