I am a graphic designer and music makes me focus on what I need to do and help to tune out the world. Like my sisters, a lot of my taste in music comes from my dad's eclectic record collection. My first band infatuation was the Beatles. I would play my dad's records and as I was growing up, I would listen to the music my oldest sister would get ready to in the morning for school and listen to those. Radiohead, Siouxsie and the Banshees, the Chemical Brothers, Joy Division, The Cure, Bjork and so on. From there I just came across bands that had more heart than commercial artists. I have not listened to a local radio station of my own free will in about 5 years, and get all my music from the net or word of mouth. For me it's the best way to go. Although I do have my guilty pleasures *Justin Timberlake* Gotta love that white boy.
