Bio:
ok, kids I am from 1958 at 12 I fell in love with R&B.
Yup, I am 62 this year and have just about every album of anyone that was great or near great and also black. ( I am white) so how do you like them apples!
As a kid when we had high school dances I would have a circle around me and some kid that was a great dancer.
Remeber the bump well, I was a master at that dance.
Lately in the last years since we put the vinyl to rest and used cassettes, I also stayed with my favorites, Lavert, Vandross, even Michael was one of my favorites, then.
Of course no one can replace the likes of Otis and groups like War and Tower of Power. Old timers like Dinah Washington, What a difference a day makes.
And never forget my man JAMES BROWN he was one man for sure his songs raised the hair on my head.
So in closing I want to say, Tim, you have one awesome station/project here and I am enjoying as is my 37 year old daughter.
Keep up the great work we love you. xoxox Maxine
