Born and raised in Northern California, spent most of my younger days listening to anything I could get my hands on and nowadays I still adhere to that creed so long as it's not mind-numbing or obnoxious.

I LOVE some good hip-hip. I take both flavors: old school authentic like Atmosphere and MF Doom showcased on 'New Old School', and new school club style from Akon to Usher.

I'm also big on folksy, heavily harmonic stuff and am a sucker for a good acoustic guitar like Jason Mraz, Justin Nozuka or Jack Johnson. (Is it me or is there like a million artists just like them who have J- names???)

I'm big on new music (who isn't) and am always down to listen to something interesting and unique. One man groups like Kenna (MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE), Nine Inch Nails, and Vast interest me greatly as the artists show such a HUGE amount of talent and love for music.

I listen to Pandora just about every day, and have a few well-developed stations. Listed from most to least in terms of time invested in developing the station:

PvP Mostly hard and fast music to get you pumped. These are a lot of tracks I like to frag to (Counter-Strike).

Hoppin 08 Stolen from jesseschulman but further developed to include a broader range of booty shakin'.

Irie, and Dreadlock Holiday are reggae, roots and modern respectively.

1,000 Things is a collection of good authentic, and talented musicians headlined by Jason Mraz, Eisley, and Mute Math.

That being said, I'm down for some good Drum and Bass like Kosheen, Photek, and Aphrodite but have yet to develop a station that showcases this highest form of EDM. :D
