I started out listening to 1970s and 80s funk and R&B. I have always been a huge fan of Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5, Commodores, Parliament, The Time, and the GAP Band. At 16, I was introduced to Rush and they are still my favorite band. In college, I got into Tears for Fears, Howard Jones, Depeche Mode and other tekno-dance grooves. Today, I still love hearing the music of the 80s,plus contemporary jazz and gospel. Music is a very important part of my life.
