I grew up listening to KOMA out of Oklahoma City, OK - but only at night - as that was the only time it would come in. At the time it was a Rock and Roll format. In later years in college, my roommate got me into listening to jazz while studying. It was great because there were few if any words in the music, the pace was right, and it set the mood for good concentration. I've been out of college for nearly 25 years and still listen to jazz (and rock 'n' Roll). Favorites are Mike Post, Bob James, Miles Davis, Grover Washington Jr, Mindi Abair, Diana Krall, Dave Koz The Rippingtons, Euge Groove, Steve Cole, Chris botti... Most favorite songs are from The Rippingtons - Topaz, Bob James - Touchdown, Diana Krall - Love Songs.
