I grew up on rock music; hard rock, classic rock, 80s glam, and more. So while rock will always hold a special place in my heart, a lot of the new rock coming out is crap, and I don't have the energy to wade through it.

I've travelled a bit around Europe and lived there for 2yrs, in which I developed a love for electronica and dance music. EuroPop is so different from American Pop, and the Euro stuff I dig. My little brother's in college, so he's keeping me updated on the new alternative music, which is great.
