Well in eight grade, my parents decided to by me a guitar for christmas, thinking that I would have liked playing. And were they right. My life completely revolves around playing. I had to self teach myself everything I know which is how I got into real heavy metal. This is because my first tab book had some metallica and iron maiden. And i was completly blown away on how it affected me. The more i progressed, the more i wanted to surpass these bands in skill, but as soon as i got a song done, i found an even harder one. A year and half later, I realized that i was actually really good, and i am now starting to go ahead and write my own songs, mainly influenced by Iron Maiden and Metallica, but also Megadeth, Motley Crue, AC/DC, and many others. Hopfully, i can eventually get my own CD up here for all to listen.
