I have pretty eclectic tastes. Been a classics buff since early childhood (with a strong sidebar of my mother's swing and 40's 50's popular vocals), added American folk (traditional and contemporary), jazz, and show tunes during my early teens, with British Invasion and its American counterparts chiming in for my college years. College also introduced me to Celtic and Eastern European folk and dance tunes. Of course, Queen! There are usually a few hits among whatever is going on in popular music (BareNaked Ladies, Voltaire and Violent Femmes come to immediate mind). I am also a Science Fiction buff, so SF Filk, especially Heather Alexander/Alexander James Adams and Kathy Mar are favorites. At Renaissance Faire I look for the Poxy Boggards, Merry Wives of Windsor and Belles of Bedlam. My car radio buttons are set to our local college (mostly) classical station, Jack radio and the oldies station. If I can dream to it, hum or sing it or dance to it I probably like it.
