I used to say that I had eclectic taste in music, but since eclecticism seems to be all the rage these days, I'll attempt a more precise definition.

I tend to prefer songs with at least a hint of darkness to them. I admire strong female vocalists and any band that can strike vocal harmonies. I am fascinated by music that juxtaposes genres.. the more different the genres juxtaposed, the better.

As far as actual genre preferences go, I'll say I listen primarily to modern/hard/alternative rock and metal.

Oh, and I adore Evanescence.
