I have diverse musical tastes, but I have to admit as life has become more stressful, I've become more interested in mellow music; not boring music, but stuff that soothes and relaxes. I still love my power pop/punk/rock, but I also seek out folk, folk rock, anti-folk, singer/songwriter, jazz, ambient, electronica, and new age (the smart stuff, not the generic kind). Favorites include Regina Spektor, Holly Cole, Colin Hay, Alexi Murdoch, Mark Isham, Jackie Allen, Nick Drake, Imogen Heap, Chris Spheeris, Over the Rhine, David Gray, and Ray LaMontagne.
