Bio:
Music is a critical part of my life. My mother and grandmother played a piano and my father was a devoted Jazz fan. I grew up listening to Jimmy Smith, Wes Montgomery, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Nina Simon, Betty Carter, Miles Davis, Lee Morgan, Leon Thomas, John Coltrane, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Pharaoh Sanders, the Crusaders and the like. I do like some Contemporary or Smooth Jazz for a change of pace. RB is ok and Classical is cool from time to time. I tend to follow Duke Ellington's dictum, "There are only two kinds of music: good and bad."
Pandora is a wonderful resource. I play it all the time at work and at home. I love hearing new voices as well as the ability to be surprised by favorites.
