yucca root is a tapered starchy root which is like potato except a little sweeter and sticky. It is mostly boiled and mashed but I do it fried like potato logs in olive oil. It is very good. They sell it at Asian and Mexican stores. It is around a dollar a pound.

I'm not organic minded. I feel it is good to have healthy soil and I think inorganics can harm living things. Yet I still realize it is hard to grow things perfectly. I do however insist on organic gasoline. All of the gasoline I buy is organic. Farming to feed billions of people is not easy. Better for me than eating animals at any rate.

So far I have eaten out of a can of black olives, some homemade salsa with corn chips, and I am sure it will be more rich foods. Last week it was nine one pound bags of pistachio nuts, the tan ones (1lb day). Do you know they have more copper than steak? They are awesome nuts. It is always something I eat that is not so much like what a vegan is supposed to eat. I love carrots and celery, but I really eat rich food and it never is too much for me. Next today, fried yucca root in olive oil.
