I'm a little-beyond-budding tech support geek, an aspiring singer/songwriter, internet fly in the ointment, overtly opinionated blogging fool, and anything else one would care to throw at me.

Despite the best efforts of my parents, I grew up listening to Beatles and soul music in the '70's, discovered punk and Tom Waits at the age of 14, discovered blues and jazz in my post collegiate years, and am embracing the so called "indie" revolution while in the throes of my midlife crisis.

I like anything with passion and intelligence. This will occasionally include rap (I'm a big Common fan), and pop (did you all know that Squeeze got back together). Thanks to one of my co-workers, I have just become a member of the church of Radiohead - tho' I'm still trying to figure out "Kid A".

Sometimes I also like some escapist fun (explains the "Dance Suckas! radio station)
