Forget me,the music is the important part: I really love the sound of "indie" music. And alternative. I'm not a sad and depressed person, but for some reason I like music that gives off that vibe. Laid back and a hint of a meloncholy feeling. I think it balances me out. I'm always smiling and making jokes, but this music brings out the complexities in me. The hard, sad times that we all face even if we try to disguise them. We all do it.
Some of the artists I fancy(in no order): Coldplay, Aqualung, The Shins, Death Cab For Cutie, Rilo Kiley, Augustana, Band of Horses, Pilot Speed, Peter Bjorn and John, The Killers, The Whitest Boy Alive, Arcade Fire, Muse, Feist (just to name a few)
I don't know um, I love John Mayer too.
I'll listen to anything basically. I listen to music for whatever mood I'm in. I listen to different stuff each week. I can't believe I'm admitting this but, I listened to Hilary Duff all weekend. I was in a girls night out mood.
So yeah, my musical tastes range from great lengths: The Clash to Andrea Bocelli to Chris Botti to Justin Timberlake to Third Eye Blind to Nirvana to Jeff Buckley to Timbaland.
I think I listen to such diverse things because I truly appreciate music itself. I like good music and it doesn't matter what genre it is, as long as its music. I love how music can influence your mood. Like in movies, half of the greatest moments in movies are the greatest because of the feeling the background music gives off. Think about it.
