Have interests in a wide variety of music but am keenly fond of superlative guitar artists, particularly, rhumba-style flamenco, European classical, and that which is against a soft beat. That all started with Brazilian artists in the bossa nova/jazz era - still one of my favorite genres, all the way back to Luiz Bonfa. Enjoy the 'Julie London' sound as well and piano artists like Dave Grusin, David Benoit et al. Favorite guitar artist/songwriter team: Nick Webb (untimely, sad death) & Greg Carmicheal of ACOUSTIC ALCHEMY. Absolutely unique.
I find as I age, my tastes are also beginning to include more 'EURO' jazz artists as well - good stuff across that pond. Chris Cross and Gilbert O'Sullivan rock! And a big Hoo-Raw for the Big Band era...

I ride a 1999 Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide-glide when I'm not listening to music. I'm an amateur astronomer and follow the Arizona Diamondbacks in baseball and the Phoenix Suns in baskeball. In my early 20s for seven years, I worked for United Airlines and was able to travel the world a lot on different carriers for virtually nothing. I got hooked on Brazilian music on a two-week trip on Pan Am to Rio and Sao Paulo. Big fan of 'Blade Runner' the movie, and Vangelis' music.
