What do the genres Classical, Jazz, Indian Classical, Death Metal, New Flamenco, Blues, and solo piano have in common?

My ears.

The above is but a partial list of what I am into. Easier to indicate what "genres" I do NOT listen to:
Rap, mallcore, new country, pop, or anything else you might hear on commercial radio.

A few years ago, my musical listening tastes were not very broad. Southern rock and blues rock mostly. Then something happened. Not sure when or how, but it's like some intricate neuronal pattern had been developing in my superconscious and then crystalized in my brain allowing me to appreciate all kinds of music. I would hear a Mozart piano sonata and be awestruck. Same with some wicked jazz piano trio number or a particularly emotional romp on a flamenco guitar.
Now I have to hear more. Like eating pizza, there always seems to be room for one more piece.
