I'm a slacker/ne'er do well who loves music more than I make time for exploring it. Presto - Pandora is my New Favorite Time-Waster online. Huzzah! Lately, my faves are Mountain Goats, Sunset Rubdown, Magnetic Fields, Electrelane, Stephen Malkmus, yer basic intelligent indie rock with acoustic and melodic stylings. My all-time faves are R.E.M., Talking Heads, Costello, Aimee Mann, and obviously Beatles/ Who/ Kinks/ Beach Boys, etc. I've also got the big love for 80's pop, heavy on the whining and synth, and I've got an embarrassing love of 70's and 80's man-rock, like Boston, Journey, Kansas...so two stations to choose from. If you like the indy/pop/post-punk/singer-song w r i t e r stuff, there is "Psycho Kill the Radio Star." And if you want some heavy guitar riffing psychedelic manly rock, set your "Journey to Middle Earth."
