I am a molecular biology and criminology double major. I LOVE music. All kinds of music, except for maybe rap, I have a great appreciation for the talent of rap artists, the music just does not appeal to me. Oh yeah, and pop, I hold that there is not much talent in the pop industry, yes, there are a few truly talented individuals, but as a whole, I avoid the genre. Anything with an interesting instrument added out of nowhere. Like a violin, steel guitar, organ, or yes, even a kazoo, I will at least listen to, and usually enjoy. I think that guitarists are the sexiest beings on earth. The power, passion and heart in a guitar solo makes me melt. I love syncopation and strange lyrics. I believe that The Beatles are the greatest band ever to walk the earth. Their music has left an imprint that will never dissipate. The deaths of John and George still depress me when I think about it, and John was murdered years before I was born. I also like to listen to Hair Metal. Blame it on an ex-boyfriend if you must, but everyone must agree that Slash is brilliant. Music keeps me sane while trying to deal with a ridiculous course load, a job, and stress about what I am going to do when I graduate in a year.
