I spent my teens pretty much listening to mainstream crap, doing mainstream things, drinking mainstream beer and chewing mainstream tobacco. Now I'm married with three kids, living in a house with a white picket fence and wearing moderately-priced shoes to an office job. I love my life 95% of the time and sometimes it even gets exciting, but I am personally pretty dull. So, I listen to (and genuinely like) music that no self respecting drone in a company logoed golf shirt like me should ever consider. You know, stuff that you force people to listen to in your car to prove that you're edgier that your bland haircut and politically correct conversation points reveal. I hope it doesn't end up being my life's only rebellion, but it just might. Anyway, here's to completely safe expressions of individuality - they're better than nothing.
