Bio

I grew up listening to my fathers band playing country music from the 20's to the present whenever the present was. I remember so distinctly how that old music just made my heart jump for joy. It could make me laugh, or cry and also feel every emotion in between. It made me proud of my country and feel anger as well as sympathy for those who don't. I later learned to call that quality the soul of the music. I believe alot of those characteristics are sadly, missing in todays music. Very few of todays artists can make you believe the way they did years ago. Probably this was due to the fact that so many of yesterdays talent actually lived the songs they would sing since they also wrote them. Some of todays newer artists are definately better and hopefully a complete return to the basics will help this generation of music to live on through time. This station is dedicated to that feeling. If I don't believe the artist, you won't find it here. I tell my son all the time that great music transends time and speaks to you on many different levels. But the best music has a story that you just can't help but believe. I hope you believe the same way. Feel free to post comments if you would like.
