My musical tastes are all over the place. When I'm in the mood for heavy music, I love Apocalyptica, Korpiklanni, Kiuas, Savatage, Helloween, Opeth, Hevein (Pandora doesn't have them yet), and Iron maiden. I also like some classical, like the heavier works of Wagner, Sibelius, and Musorgski.
When I want something lighter, I love fiddle music: Bluegrass, Celtic, Gypsy, etc. and "World Beat" ethnic percussion-based music.
In a mellow mood, I like Native American flute, some (not too pretentious) "New Age" style stuff, and Impressionist period Classical like Debussy.
