Life for me was jubilant, vibrant, full of light until I married a man who thought all believers were "pretending". He talked the right talk, walked the right walk, but he was just "not there." God continued to bless me and I had wonderful success in my career until one night, 3am in the morning actually, ...trying to get our income tax reports filed by the impeding deadline, and bleeding intensely, abnormally. I fell on my knees and asked God for help. He talked to me! He said I would have to be patient. He told me not to preach to my husband. I was patient. I saw my husband come to cherish my walk with God. I stood faithfully by my husband as he left this earth a victim of renal disease yet saved. Five days after he had passed away, I heard a soft voice: "Tony is now your brother in Christ." He has since through fellow Christians confirmed His constancy to me. I am an ordinary person, yet who am I that I should come to feel so special, so cared for, so protected, so saved? Thank you, Father, for my salvation, Yeshu, Jesus.
Update. Lakewood Church, Dec. 21, 2008. Had experienced severe facial pain and brain swelling. Asked God to take a look at me. Suspected but only said, and this time tell me what I'm doing wrong; I want to help fight this thing and I don't want it coming back. Well, a prayer partner at Lakewood said: " Listen, God is speaking. Focus on alkalyzers; cancer cannot survive alkaline conditions. Do your research. Look it up on the web." It has now been 7 months and I have a new way of living. I eat differently, combine my foods differently so that the end results is that what I eat leaves my stomach alkalyzed not acidified. God is good and takes care of this widow and I have a victorious walk -- yes it is possible -- with God.
