Bio:
My friends in high school thought I was weird for going into a record store looking for the latest Iron Maiden recording, and coming out with a couple of Kitaro's older works, or one of Verdi's operas, or Genesis' Wind and Wuthering.

I tend towards music that reaches backwards for its inspiration -- whether that's Kate Rusby turning a 17th century rustic tune into a beautiful lullaby, or Marissa Nadler going back to Hildegard von Bingen, or Amy Lee basing a song on a Mozart mass, or Rhapsody basing a power cord structure on a Gregorian chant.

So, don't look at any of my stations if you want something thoroughly modern - there is too much of the past that shouldn't be lost.
