i was once 9 and got a red hot chili peppers c.d. - my first ever( ladies find this evident in the way it has influenced my lifestyle :) )- after i made the realization I felt the best listening to the very best- One LOve! Bob Marley, his message and his style has influenced me greatly- sinse then i have diversified my tastes to the extreme.. While every artform needs structure by being influenced by the more traditional it also needs a more expressive means for creation. Classical music is not boring- its beautiful but not relevant to our time ( this is why most who dont like it, just dont understand it) Jazz and blues brings out the most beautiful and extremely powerful expression through the medium of its melancholic environment . (roots rock) Reggae brings out a message stronger than any other. Classic Rock brings out the rebel- forcing the listener to feel a sense of freedom by taking up against the institution. Hip Hop does the same but through its environment ( liek jazz) creates a stronger message- its relevance to its time period coupled with its Rock quality sits the open minded in a library and the close minded in a room of ignorance. Music is the only artform that can correctly express emotion through sound- the best "ARTISTS"
realize this and create ambiances that touch the listener with similar feelings of their own
