I grew up listening to rock (AC/DC, Rage against the machine, 311, Metallica, Toadies, Radiohead, etc) in High School. When I went to college I was exposed to the raving scene and fell in love with dance music (DJ Micro, Scott Henry, Commander Tom, Frankie Bones, Simply Jeff, Freaky Flow, Pete Tong, DJ Icey etc.). After many raves I soon realized that drum and bass was one of my favorite sounds and listened to much D&B and Jungle (DJ Hype, Andy C, DJ Dieselboy, DJ Marky, DJ Dara, E-Z Rollers, etc.) and started to spin records for fun. I focused on Ragga Drum and Bass (Reggae influenced D&B) and soon became educated on Reggae (Barrington Levy, Capelton, Damian Marley, John Brown's Body, Sean Paul, T.O.K., Beenie Man, etc.) and truly respected their sound. I soon was exposed to festivals and fell in love with a whole new scene (Gathering of the Vibes, WEMF, Langerado, ReggaeFest, Camp Bisco, Camp Creek, etc.). I was exposed to many bands and really enjoy dance infused Jam Bands (Sound Tribe Sector Nine, Lotus, 2020 Soundsystem, Biodiesel, Matisyahu, New Deal, Disco Biscuits, EOTO, etc.). I am constantly on the prowl for the new and hot tunes and love dance music and good vibes...
