Being a drummer for 15 yrs, I grew up in a small town where I mostly listened to Led Zeppelin, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Primus, etc. When I got out of HS, I moved to Peoria and discovered a local music scene. I also started playing drums a bit more seriously and got into jazz, fusion and other styles besides rock. Drummers like Vinnie Colaiuta, Dave Weckl quickly became my favs. I work in the IT industry, but still play in a band on the weekends.
