The Universe talks to us all; I'm so glad I'm trying to listen. When once I knew that the world wasn't like Miami and that there were other places and people who think differently, I realized that the planet is small and fragile but that the universe is endless and we cannot comprehend it. It's up to us if we will ever evolve to a higher plane where we truly stop being so selfish and truly look out for eachother.
On the Pioneer spacecraft that is sailing way out there now, there is music! Of all the other stuff on that small craft (math problems for example), should it ever make contact someplace, it will be music that communicates who we were.
According to NASA, the Voyager 1 spacecraft reached the termination shock on May 24, 2005, Voyager 2 on August 30, 2007. Both had travelled at that time about 16 000 bil. km. The termination shock lies nearer to the Sun than the heliopause. Pioneer 10 has reached about 15 363 bil. km on December 1, 2008. So, it is clear that it hasn't reached the heliopause since December 2008, and that nobody will ever know when it reaches it, as Pioneer 10 has terminated communication in 2003...with earth that is.
