I am a self proclaimed audiophile,,,that is a big sentence to say I love to listen but cannot play. My music collection is rather vast, and varied. Most of the artists are either dead or nearly so. Most of the groups have had at least one member die. 2nd generation Deadhead, It is my goal to own at least one album from every group that played Woodstock,,,for you young readers that is the one and only in 1969! The others were just pretenders! I am a die-hard Classic Rock fan, for me The Beatles will never die! But I also listen to the people that influenced them, like Robert Johnson, Howlin Wolf, Muddy Waters et al. Mozart, Brahms, Beethoven, Handel, Strauss, Chopin also find their way into my ears occasionally. The only thing I do not listen to is hip-hop/rap. Not that I have anything against people that do, it is just not for me. That is just about it, I would like to hear from others who enjoy the same music that I do.
