My mother was my first teacher at the age of 5 and I studied piano until I was 25 years of age when I began teaching. I have won 3 scholarships, young artist of the year awards from the Music Teachers Assoc. of California and played numerous concerts with orchestra and concert band as well as giving solo recitals professionally. I am
a published poet and also have, for my own enjoyment and that of some others, written several songs and compositions. I studied at Music Academy of the West in Montecito, CA, Sherwood School of Music in Chicago, Il. and
Biola University in California.

I DO simply love to listen to many different kinds of music
and I like to play the piano for people even now at the age
of 65. I like to teach music especially to children who are somewhat gifted and like to learn and grow as musicians.
