I am 40 yrs old and grew up in Texas, and have loved a variety of different types of music. From alt country to punk. I never was a country music person, but once I heard some rockabilly and alt country in the 90's I dug deeper and found so many different types.
I love everything from Wilco to The Killers. I have never liked R&B or Rap and I guess have never understood how anybody could. There is NO talent involved.
The best music is done by someone writing and playing their own songs. Someone who can play an instrument and can sing.
