Dylan's 'Basement Tapes' (the bootleg version) is casual & awesome expression of genius - harkening to deep thread of Americana that is comforting and vaguely disturbing at the same time.
'Who Knows Where The Time Goes' (Sandy Denny/Fairport Convention)is itself utterly timeless and should be played at births, weddings and funerals... Seriously - go listen to it.
Robert Johnson, Hank Williams and Kurt Cobain are all blood brothers; singin' the same songs in different skins.
'Shambala' by Three Dog Night - Pseudo-hippie/emo-pop crap? Sure, but what'ya gonna do? Still gotta love that friggin' song...
