Bio:
I am a volunteer jazz DJ at Aspen Public Radio (an NPR affiliate) that can be heard worldwide via the Internet at www.aspenpublicradio.org. My 3 hour "Jazztime with Don" show is usually broadcast from 8:00 to 11:00 pm MST the last Thursday of each month. I play mostly what I call "Classic/Mainstream Jazz", ie: Stan Getz, Gerry Mulligan, Ella Fitzgerald, Mel Torme, Oscar Peterson, Chet Baker, Dave Brubeck and Paul Desmond, Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong, Nina Simone, Count Basie, Woody Herman, Duke Ellington, Nancy Wilson, Miles Davis, etc.
My next Jazztime with Don radio show on May 25th will feature a salute to Downbeat's second 10 Jazz Hall of Fame Winners (1962-1971) 8:00 to 11:00 pm MST on www.aspenpublicradio.org .
