I sing a fair bit; actually in two choirs, the New Haven Oratorio Choir and Orchestra and Tonos Humanos. I love Baroque music, and acoustic guitar, which I'm learning to play (with mixed results...). If I can sing it, I'll listen to it. This does not typically include rap or metal (not for lack of trying; I just can't understand what's being said!).
I have a strange fondness for musicals and Disney, like most females of my age and generation.
I also have this thing for Bollywood. It's simply amazing.
I love son, tango, merengue, salsa and samba. Ry Cooder is an evil man. And Yo-yo Ma knocks my socks off.
